Hi there! I’m Manu. I’ve had dogs by my side since the day I was born, so life without them just feels incomplete. That’s why I decided to travel doing pet sitting. Having a dog to hang out with is what makes me feel safe, grounded, and at home wherever I am. As a plus, meeting their families also ends up being a joyful experience.

Since I run my own business, my work involves a lot of writing and editorial projects. This means my schedule is flexible and I can easily manage my own hours. Having breaks to play with dogs and go for walks is actually perfect for me to keep my creative energy flowing. Dixie, my current host, loves to go out and we usually go for two walks a day, usually lasting between 30 minutes and an hour, depending on the dog’s needs. Since I work from my laptop, I am around most of the time to keep them company.

Regarding safety and the environment, your dog will be in a very safe place. I am staying in a ground-floor apartment with a fully fenced garden. It is not huge, but it is definitely enough space for them to sunbathe and sniff the plants around.

There is already a super friendly dog living here, Dixie, who loves to play and make new friends. We also have a ton of toys around, especially plushies and squeaky ones.

I’ve grown up with some very stubborn dogs, so I’m used to different personalities. My approach is to be patient but firm, helping dogs feel comfortable while keeping clear boundaries. I’m also happy to give medication as long as your pet is reasonably comfortable with it and doesn’t become aggressive during handling. To make sure every dog gets enough attention, I only care for up to three dogs at a time.

Whether your pet stays for a few hours or a few days, they will have a buddy to hang out with and a good setup. I will keep you updated with pictures the whole time so you don’t have to worry.
