Hi! My name is Maria, and I am a qualified English teacher with more than seven years of professional experience. This year, I decided to step outside my comfort zone and spend a year in Austria, discovering a new culture, meeting new people and trying meaningful new experiences.

Caring for others has always been an important part of my personality and my career. I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats, and I have experience feeding them, walking dogs, playing with them, cleaning their spaces and giving them attention and companionship. I understand that every animal has a different personality, so I always follow the owner’s instructions and adapt to each pet’s routine, energy level and temperament.

My dog walks normally last between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the pet’s age, health and usual routine. During home visits, I can provide fresh food and water, clean litter trays, play with your pet, take dogs outside when required and spend time keeping them company. I can also send photos and short updates so you feel reassured while you are away.

I am calm and patient with shy or nervous pets and understand that some animals need time and personal space before feeling comfortable. I use gentle interaction and never force contact. For energetic pets, I provide appropriate playtime and exercise while always prioritising their safety.

In an emergency, I would contact you immediately, carefully follow your instructions and, when necessary, take your pet to the veterinarian or emergency clinic indicated by you.

As a teacher, I am responsible, organised, punctual and used to being trusted with the care and well-being of others. I speak fluent English and Spanish and am currently learning German. I would be delighted to care for your pet with the same affection, patience and responsibility I would give my own.
